Janson Agent for Apprentice Meaux FAHIMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., May 10.— The engagement book of apprentice Clarence Meaux, formerly handled by Jack Donet, was turned over this morning to H. J. "Doc" Janson, who came here last week with Felix J. DeMary, who holds the contract on Meaux. The Louisiana saddlesmith rode three winners Monday night and came within one of losing his five-pound apprentice allowance. Janson, the new agent for Meaux, was prominent for years among show horses.
