MIDAS TOUCH forged to the front of BARBARA L., after going a quarter, and withstood a couple of -challenges from the latter before reaching the stretch, but was all out to hold her at the end. BARBARA L., a forward factor, challenged in determined fashion and was gaining at the finish. TOMMY DUE closed steadily to best VEZLARK. The latter was going gamely at the end. APPROPRIATE tired in the final quarter. WISEVIEW was badly outrun. ALLOYED was never far from the pace and, finding an opening on the inside of TERRY MINE in the stretch, forged to the front near the end to win under pressure. TERRY MINE set the pace and held on well in the final drive. DONT OREST closed in resolute fashion. EASY DOUGH weakened in the stretch. ISOMUR was in close quarters repeatedly while attempting to find an opening on the inside and had little chance. KANGASU tired badly. Corrected weight— Easy Dough, 115.
