1045 Kentucky Derby ■ Last to Include Filly" LOUISVHXE, Ky.— The last time a f illy ran in the Kentucky Derby was in the 1945 renewal when Arthur Roses Misweet ran 12th in a field of 16. H. P. Whitneys Prudery was. the last of j her sex to finish as good as third in the famous race. She was third to Behave Yourself and Black Servant, Col. E. R. Bradleys e"ntry, in 1921. Prudery later produced the 1927 winner Whiskery. Calumet Farms first Derby starter, Nellie Flag; was the last filly to share in the prize money. She finished fourth in 1935.
