Four Stallions Each Sire Of Three Derby Winners LOUISVILLE, Ky.— Four stallions have now sired three winners each of the Ken-! tucky Derby. Bull Lea joined Virgil, Falsetto, and Sir Gallahad m. in this category last spring when his son Iron Liege won the race. Bull Leas first son to win was Citation in 1948. He also sired Hill Gail, winner in 1952. None of the other three stallions who ha-e sired three winners got them in such a short time. Sir Gallahad rfl.s third winner came 15 .years after his first. Falsettos first was in 1DG4, his third 12 years later. Virgil sired Vagrant, winner in 1876 and his third was Ben Ali in 1886.
