Exterminator Kept Rolling Along After Derby Victory LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Exterminator, considered one of the best horses ever to win the Kentucky Derby, enjoyed racings limelight for many years after his victory at Churchill Downs on May 11, 1918. In each of the next four years Exterminator was the countrys top money-winner among older horses. In 1922 he won . the largest amound of money ever earned by a seven-year-old.
