FEE: ,500 mmmmmmmmm LIVE TH •* .— ■ t A Statement By MAINE CHANCE FARM MAIKE CHANCE FARM is devoted to raising horses for the Maine Chance facing establishment. It is a successful farm— the best two-year-old of 1957, JEWELS REWARD, is -from Maine Chance — the leading sire of two-year-old money winners stands here, JET jEWEL. The large band of broodmares, including such mares as MYRTLES CHARM, BEAUGAY, and ROSE JET — all leading fillies of their year — and the ten stallions standing at MAINE CHANCE are products of our own racing stable, plus purchases ofselected individuals, both in the United States and abroad. - - - " / Unfortunately, it is impractical to race the entire production of such an outstanding collection of horses and MAINE CHANCE must offer yearlings for sale privately, or a? public auction. We" offered, but did not sell, the 1957 two-year-old champion. Jewels Reward; but did sell the highly-ranked Beauguerre the previous year. There is a distinct advantage in buying yearlings from a racing stable breeder. Each horse is bred and raised with 1 the intention of going into our racing stable. We are not concerned with the fashion of the moment, as a market breeder must be, but rather with raising sound, fast horses with stakes ability. You are welcome to visit the-farm and see the stallions, mares, yearlings and foals. Wc believe we are turning out a superior product. TEN MAINE CHANCE STALLIONS Jet, Action Gun Shot.
