The last time they met — in the Flamingo Stakes at Hialeah Park — Jewels Reward finished a head in front of Tim Tom, but was disqualified for repeatedly bumping the Calumet colt in their exciting stretch duel. These blow-ups of the official film patrol photos tell the story. At the eighth pole top, Tim Tom, ridden by Bill Hortack, is on the extreme outside, almost abreast of Jewels Reward white bjaze, who is beginning to -bear out under jockey Manuel Ycaza.
