Willie Knapp Officiates At KentuckyGive-Away Contest CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louis-ille, Ky., May 2. — Forty years ago this week, Willie Knapp rode the winner of the 1918 Kentucky Derby, Exterminator. Today at the spry age of 70, the ex-jockey climbed GEORGE LEWIS — Owner of Martins Rullah,. starter in todays Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. aboard a two-year-old son of Count Fleet in the winners circle at Churchill Downs to help present the first prize in the fifth annual Kentucky Club Derby Day contest. Knapp helps to publicize the contest in which a thoroughbred is given to the person who comes up with the winning name. This years gift horse, named Hasty-transit, was presented to an attractive 140-year-old Pasadena, Calif, housewife, Mrs. Walter Dorn. Mrs. Dorn said she will keep the horse and will race it in California.
