Regret Lone Filly Winner LOUISVILLE, Ky. •— Although 28 fillies have been starters in the Kentucky Derby, only Harry Payne Whitneys Regret, winner of the 1915 running:, was successful. C. R. Ellisons Lady Navaree was the only member of her sex to- finish second.- She accomplished this in 1906 when she was beaten two lengths by George J. Longs Sir Huon. Five fillies have finished third: Flamma, 1912% Gowell, 1913, Bronzewing, 1914, Viva America, 1918, and Prudery, 1921.
