Homebreds Scored in Last LOUISVILLE, Ky.— The last three renewals of the Kentucky Derby have been won by homebreds. In thoroughbred racing vernacular, a homebred is a horse bred by the person who is racing him. Determine, Andrew Crevolins 1954 winner, was purchased by that owner as a yearling from Dr. Eslie As-bury, who bred the cotl at his Forest Itetrcat Farm in Kentucky. i - ■. » v i/a* 3
