Seventh Running on May 3 LOUISVILLE, Ky.— This year is the seventh-in 83 years that the Kentucky Derby has-been run on May 3. The only other date on which as many renewals of the famous Churchill Downs race has been held is May 6. The last time the Derby was run on May 6* was in 1950, and the last time on May 3 was 1952.
