SALLY SHALL IN STAKE LEXINGTON, Ky., April 2 Four thoroughbreds now share the worlds record for three furlongs. Last year Airflame established the mark of :33 at Santa Anita. This winter the record has been equaled by Sally Shall and Recorder at Hialeah Park and Balking at Santa Anita. Sally Shall, owned by Brown and Fetter, is among the juveniles expected to start in the Lafayette Stakes, ,500 added, on the Keeneland spring program here. Believed by many turfmen to be one of the countrys fastest racing strips, Keeneland may be the scene for Sally Shall to establish a mark all her own.
