1 AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES : Jockey Eddie Arcaro was engaged to ride W. H. Gallaghers Rudie in the Shevlin on Saturday. Black Look, a recent stake winner at Suffolk Downs, was returned to Belmont Park. Rudie, at candidate for the Shevlin on Saturday, left Suffolk Downs for Aqueduct, according to owner W. H. Gallagher, in charge of trainer J. L. Donovan. For the first time at this meeting no claiming race was programmed for Saturday. Jack Campbell scheduled the steeplechase as the opening number as a convenience to those who expressed a desire to witness the United Hunts meeting after the running. Bright Emerald suffered a ruptured tendon, according to owner N. E. Doyle. J. W. May started Jacksaw for John Tucker in the opening race. It marked the veterans first essay in that line in several vflfl rs.
