LIMIT was away fast and, rated in back of the leaders until reaching the stretch, responded readily when called upon, ran down the pacemaker before reaching the eighth post, and drew clear at the close. BOB C. was prominent throughout but much used up in racing MERRY HAHA into defeat and had nothing left with which to meet the challenge of the winner. MAZIE was hard ridden all the way, and came willingly in the stretch run. WARLAINE was outpaced early but came with a belated burst of speed in the late stages. He would have been third in another stride. MERRY HAHA tired in the final three-aixteenths after showing sharp early speed. TAKUS was hard ridden while following along in pursuit of the leaders, bore out when reaching the stretch, responded gamely to brisk urging and, finishing out beyond the center of the track, was up in the last stride. BONNIE PAN forced the pace of CONSISTENT, wore down the latter for the command and just missed. CONSISTENT displayed good speed in the pacemaking although unable to maintain her advantage in the last seventy yards. HIGH TORQUE finished gamely through the stretch. GLYNNA moved up willingly at the far turn into the stretch but was unable to make up any ground in the closing drive. FLOWERY LADY was unable to keep up early. LOTTAFUN was away slowly, moved up fast in the first three-eighths and tired thereafter. BLUE DONNA was never able to reach the leaders. COMEDA began to improve her position gradually in the last five-sixteenths, closed willingly in the final drive and was up in the closing strides. UNFURL was restrained for the first half mile, moved up on the outside in the closing quarter mile and finished with a rush. POTIPHAR was well up and, saving ground throughout, held on stubbornly to the end. DOE GIRL displayed good speed in pacemaking in the last eighth. SPURLIN was going gamely at the end after being far back early. ROYAL TUSCAN saved ground at the stretch turn. SUGABQOT, 0n the outside throughout, faltered in the last three-sixteenths. The latter went to the front in the run to the first turn, opened up a good lead and, steadied along in front, held on well, though no match for the winn. REELON, in nearest pursuit of the pace, continued willingly to the end. ROUGH DIAMOND, as usual, trailed until nearing the far turn, closing stoutly through the stretch. CATOMAR moved up steadily in the last three-eighths, wore down SUN PILOT inside the last eighth and drew out steadily. SUN PILOT drew away into a long lead and, although tiring through the stretch, lasted for second. DONALD DUCK moved up on the outside, bumped MAESTROM repeatedly through the closing eighth and finished with good energy. MAESTROM was taken to the outside around the first turn ana restrained until reaching the stretch, moving up steadily when interfered with repeatedly. BEAUTIFUL was well placed for three-quarters, then tired in the drive. STAR LOOM faltered after coins five-eiehths. RED NOSE showed a flash of early speed. Overweight Star Loom, 1 pound. MYRON was rated in back of the pace until nearing the half-mile ground, moved up on the outside to take command after rounding the far turn and, drawing away into a good lead, was never threatened, winning with speed to spare. STARWICK worked his way up steadily in the last half mile and held on stubbornly, but was unable to reach the winner. ZOR was slow to settle into his stride as usual, but closed with a belated burst of speed in the last three-sixteenths. TELLINGYOU moved up fast on the inside after leaving the back stretch and, after looming up threateningly, gave way under pressure. ODDESA BOY was unable to threaten at any stage of the journey. CORKER began bettering his position in the last half mile and, closing with a rush, was up in the closing strides to take the place. MEDIUS DIES had the most speed, drew clear early, but tired in the final eighth. HARRYS DREAM followed in closest pursuit of the pace and faltered after going three-quarters. LANDSCAPE made up some ground. OUT OF STEP was well placed and unable to keep up.
