I AGAWAM TURF NOTES s. $ A. F. East transferred a division of his stable to Aqueduct while the remainder will remain here. Paul Sanford, who has a useful stable here, is making the riding engagements of jockey A. Schmidl. The apprentice allowance on Brief, a starter in the third race, and Bonnie Maid, in the eighth, was waived with the permission of the stewards. Jay Mohr purchased the three-year-old Crop from R. T. Williams Jr., for a private i consideration and the plater was coupled with Broadstep, which performed for his brother, George Mohr, in the fourth race. The transaction was completed before the running of the event.
