ANOTHER SCURLOCK RIDING HOMEWOOD, 111., June 11 Don Scurlock, who had his first mount of the meeting at Washington Park, Friday, is a 17-year-old apprentice under engagement to Ross Hig-don. Scurlock, who hails from Lexington, Ky., has ridden a number of races but as yet has never been astride a winner. He is a younger brother of H. and J. Scurlock, also jockeys.
