ALARMING, close up from the start, was blocked at the "eighth post, took up, and then finished courageously. JACKSAW, fractious at the post, was. guided to the outside rounding the turn and finished well on the outside. DO IT, close up on the inside from the start, faltered under urging at the finih. Won driving ; second and third the same " 1 PRATTLER was rated back of the pace while jumping well, moved Into command at the twelfth fence, bore out at the final fence, then swerved to the inside but responded gamely, and finished with good courage. LOUGHTREA was under strong restraint at the first turn of the field, although jumping well, was taken back when outrun, then; finished well on the inside. SUNNY THOUGHTS was weakly handled during the running, was taken up repeatedly after getting into close quarters, then tired at the. end. REDSHANK jumped well and was rated along steadily but faltered badly in the final quarter mile. EL DORADOR made a bad landing at the fifth fence before losing its rider at the thirteenth. WHOOPER began slowly but improved his position under urging, then finished well on the outside. FLOPSIE was rushed into command after going an eighth, drew away into a long lead, then tired badly.
