1 HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES 1 s $ The horses, Evil Eye owned by J. Mahoney and Bess Waterflag the property of Mrs. W. S. Billings, have been turned out near Crete, 111. Lon Copenhaver has changed his plans and instead of going to California immediately will transfer the horses of his wife to Narragansett at the close of the Hawthorne season. He will ship the stable to the Pacific Coast later. Mrs. C. C. Miller sold Little C. C. to H. Gorski at private terms. C. J. Martin will train the youngster. George Brooks is getting away at the end of this week for Keeneland with the Shady Brook Farm horses. The establishment includes Visigoth, Cherovan, Aba, Facula, Ostrogoth, Abanico, Easterner, Timef ul, LaGata and Azafran.
