w PERIFOX AN ARRIVAL NEW YORK, N. Y., Oct 3. Perifox, the four-year-old son of Gallant Fox Periwinkle, which William Woodward recently sold i to Louis B. Mayer, of Hollywood, arrived here today in the American Trader. He was immediately vanned to Belmont Park and ; tomorrow will be sent with The Chief to : Los Angeles. Present plans are to start the son of Gallant Fox in the Santa Anita Hand-: icap and then retire him to the Mayer farm for stud duty.
