MATCH RACE POSSIBLE BELMONT PARK, N. Y., Oct. 3 Alfred G. Vanderbilt, vice-president of the Maryland Jockey Club, announced at Belmont Park Saturday afternoon that both Samuel D. Riddle, owner of War Admiral, and Charles S. Howard, owner of Seabiscuit, had generally agreed to meet in a match race at Pimlico in November. Riddle requested that a definite announcement be withheld until this week, by which time he would know how his star had come out of his race in the Jockey Club Gold Cup. The exact conditions of the match race at Pimlico have been submitted to both owners and will be announced when Mr. Riddle gives his final word.
