Riley; bred by Mr. A. Pons. Winner entered to be claimed for ,000. WENT TO POST 4:57. AT POST 7 minutes. Start good and slow. Won driving; second and third the same. FLAMING PLAY, away fast, was hemmed in on the inside when TRANSBRIAR moved up to the front and PARLOR TRICK began to improve her position, then was unable to gain racing room and, coming to the outside in the last five-sixteenths, responded gamely to intermittent punishment through the stretch, wore down the leaders and was drawing away at the end. RIGHT LADY was outrun early, came willingly in the stretch and, getting up in the closing strides, were down PARLOR TRICK. The latter moved up steadily on the outside, disposed of TRANSBRIAR for the lead and, despite holding on gamely, was unable to cope with the closing bids of the first two. TRANSBRIAR had good speed, but tired after going three-quarters. HALLIES PLAY, unruly at the post, displayed brief early speed. Overweight Which Blond, 1 pound; Miss McKay, 1.
