SPECIAL TRAIN CARRIES HORSES TO WEST COAST LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 15 A special train of five express cars of thoroughbred horses left here Friday morning for the West. Four cars, which are in charge of Ed Janss, are billed to Los Angeles. The other, containing the horses purchased here by trainer Bob McGarvey for the account of William F. Morgan, is billed to Dallas, Texas, and is in charge of trainer McGarvey. In the four cars going to California are the stallion Brokers Tip, a number of mares, yearlings and weanlings, purchased by Frank Orsatti, the mares and weanlings purchased by Ed Janss; those purchased by Allen Long for the account of Louis B. Mayer, three yearlings bought by Cromwell Blood Stock Agency for Charles S. Howard, owner of Sea-biscuit; the mare Ann ORuley, in foal to Blue Larkspur, owned by Bert Baroni; four yearlings bought by Howard Oots and consigned to Manuel Freitas, Honolulu, and several others.
