U. S. HEALTH SITUATION WASHINGTON, D. C, Oct. 15. According to reports by the public health service, compiled on the basis of reports from forty-two states during the first six months of 1938, this year is destined to be one of the healthiest in our history, for the birth rate has increased and the death rate has decreased.
