SANTO DOMINGO was compelled to race wide throughout and showed a good effort. THE GREETER lost much ground. -EUNEVA raced well for five-eighths. CYNICAL tired. TUNICA,- under steadying restraint while within close attendance of the pace and saving ground, slipped through on the inside in the stretch, responded gamely to urging to steadily wear down the leaders and was drawing out slowly at the end. ARABS ARROW, taken in hand early, moved up fast in the back stretch, was given a breathing spell, raced to the outside of TORCHY entering the stretch and, although continuing evenly, was unable to stave off the winner: TORCHY was hustled into an early lead, saved Aground while being rated, came out entering the stretch tind held on well.
