Oct.-15-38-Duf HIALEAH OPENS JANUARY 11 LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 15. Stakes blanks for Hialeah Park have been received at Keeneland this morning and Sidney Brown has been distributing them among the horsemen. The Miami .Tockey Club meeting opens its meeting January 11 and concludes March 4. The Widener and Flamingo Stakes are the highlights of the session with the former having a 0,000 added value and the Flamingo which is strictly for three-year-olds at one mile and a furlong, has a 0,000 added value. The Flamingo Stakes to be run Saturday, February 25, and the Widener which will be contested the following Saturday, close November 15. RUST TAKES OVER STRING LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 15. After directing the training of his stable for three weeks, J. O. Kcene turned I is horses over to W. S. Rust, who has had a division of the Keene horses on several occasions. The Keene representatives on the local course are Fantine, Eponine, Silver Horde, Mr. Smith, Don Cossack, Meadow Sweet and Lady Val. Trainer Rust brought Buff Ryan which races in his own name, here last week from Latonia.
