1 DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTES q Jockey C. Eye arrived from Ohio to join the Erindale Stable of Coulter brothers. M. Slcillender has taken over the horses of the Cosgrave Stable to train in the absence of A. E. Alexandra. V. B. Casey purchased the juvenile Star Naut from the Parkwood Stable at private terms. A. E. Watts has taken the plater Zetaway to train for R. Holden. The stable of Mrs. R. E. Webster will be shipped to Maitland, Ontario, to take up winter quarters. Trainer H. E. Brown plans a trip to Bay Meadows and later to Hialeah Park. He will return to Canada in March to prepare Syngo Bay and The Calf for their engagements in the Kings Plate. J. B. Millers juvenile Josette is suffering from an attack of fever and will be "thrown out of training. J. W. "Scotty" Mitchell, who served as paddock judge at the first meeting at Dufferin Park thirty years ago, was a visitor at Dufferin Park for the thirtieth anniversary. There are 119 on the preferred list at Dufferin Park at the present time. No less than 98 were excluded from the Monday program. Racing secretary Galliger, was forced to call the Queens Park Handicap off when Rural Mail was withdrawn and G. F. Potters Penabud pulled up lame and was ordered scratched by the track veterinarian.
