The youngster is at Mason and b Hangers Farm, Versailles, Ky. The young-l - ster was pronounced one of the best-lookers 3 of her age in that section. Jockey H. Richards returned from Pimlico , and accepted mounts Thursday afternoon. Walter Faust resumed his duties with Frank Shannon in the club house following r j a siege of la grippe. Frank Stevens reported that his reserva-1 - tions for opening day exceeded those of last t season. The slight shower which fell before the 2 first race drove the outdoor luncheon patrorfs 3 of the Turf and Field Club indoors. The ; rain did not affect track conditions. Jockey Don Meade will remain at Pimlico and ride the Saratoga Stables Volitant in the Preakness Saturday. James Jones, the cameraman, is hobbling around with the aid of a cane, the result of an auto accident after leaving the Jamaica track Monday. Marshall Fields Sir Damion, winner of the Dixie at Pimlico, was returned to Belmont Park Thursday by trainer George Odom. The horse shipped in good shape. Jockey M. Peters arrived from Pimlico and reported to Foxcatcher Farms. George Odom returned from Pimlico Thursday and accepted the congratulations of his fellow trainers on his Dixie winner, : Sir Damion.
