MAEPOP moved up fast rounding the far turn, came fast on the outside of opposition through the stretch and, wearing down the leaders, got up in the last few yards. FREEZE displayed keen speed, saved ground in the stretch and, coming again, outlasted WASSAIL. The latter moved into the lead when midway of the stretch, but faltered nearing the end under pressure. MISS ADELE raced evenly and finished resolutely. JUSTOLD finished fairly well. GEEZUM quit badly. The others were outrun.
