I j I i [ » j I ! i 1 CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES I s — $ Ed ONeill, Texas turfman, received word| of- a bay colt foaled by Sangreal, from Para Four, at Bedford Stock Farm, in Fort Worth, | Texas. The foal from Para Four was the only colt out of some fifteen births this spring at Gerge B. McCameys nursery. Jockey Carroll Bierman chartered a plane and left for Chicago Heights on receipt of word that his wife was suddenly taken ill and removed to a Chicago hospital. Dependent on Mrs. Biermans condition, he plans to return here Saturday to ride Flying Lill in the Kentucky Oaks. The horses W. E. Coburn has here for Conn Smythe and Joe Hazzas useful stable will depart for Woodbine Park next Tuesday. R. L. Lott has made arrangements to ship the J. W. MacClatchie horses to Hollywood Park on Saturday.
