i , KENTUCKY OAKS TAKES SHAPE i i. Withdrawal of Burgoo Miss Leaves Ten Probable Starters. Flying Lill is Almost Sure to Enjoy Post of Favoritism — Unerring Given Six Furlongs Workout. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 11.— With their training completed, excepting "blow outs" tomorrow morning, most of the Kentucky Oaks candidates had it easy today. Woolford Farms Unerring was the only eligible to be indulged in a drill over a good track at Churchill Downs, the. daughter of Insco breezing six furlongs in 1:18%. There was one withdrawal from the probable field this morning when trainer Dan Morris announced that Letton Vimonts Burgoo Miss would not be under colors for Saturdays renewal of the stake. Morris said the daughter of Burgoo King failed to show enough in the Indian Hills Purse to justify sending her after the ,000 added prize. Another eligible was eliminated when E. R. Plunketts Chandera was well beaten in her Wednesday engagement. With the two out of the race, it appears the starting field will consist of Mrs. Charles H. dearys Flying Lill, Milky Way Farms Dinner Date, Shan-don Farms Morstep and Blazearound, Mrs. John Marschs Irvana, Byrum Bros. Bellitas. Babe, Friedberg and Axtons Montsin and Bala Ormont, Old Fox Stables Torch Stick and Riverby Farms Worpoise. FIVE WINS TO HER CREDIT. With five victories to her credit this year, the last of which was a brilliant mile in the Indian Hills Purse, Flying Lill is almost sure to enjoy favoritism. However, Dinner Date will come in for strong support, due to her brilliant two-year-old record. The daughter of Stimulus has not been under colors this year but as a juvenile accounted for the Spinaway and Matron stakes., Morstep will come in for strong consideration after her third to Alms and Otra in the Pimlico Oaks and since arriving here has had a useful trial. Unerring finished second to Flying Lill in the latters first victory here and was withdrawn from the Indian Hills Purse on account of the change in track conditions. • Both Montsin and Bala Ormont are winners this year, the latter accounting for her last start and Montsin winning during the Keeneland season. " Worpoise recently arrived from Ohio to fill her engagement and on previous racing appears not to stack up with the other fillies. Torch Stick was third to Ariel Toy and Radio Gold in the Arkansas Derby and has been a very consistent performer since she entered competition last year, and Irvana and Bellitas Babe finished third and fourth in the Indian Hills Purse. . — *
