KITTYS RIVAL had good speed to hold a contending position in the early running, rallied strongly nearing the stretch, reached the pacemaker in the last sixteenth and finished stoutly to draw into the clear. LADY BUCK broke very slowly, settled in stride after the opening eighth, then bettered her posiion swiftly and raced is if best. NIGHT WATCH was hustled along to keep in the early contention and closed with good courage. GOOD GRACIOUS had a lot of speed to open up a clear lead, but flattened out suddenly when reaching the stretch. PANDORAMINT was unable to threaten. HASTY HANNA had speed for threes eights, then quit. CATS CRADLE luckily obtained racing room between horses in the opening eighth to gain a forward position, responded gamely for the final drive and came through on the inside in the stretch to get up near the close. BLUE PRELUDE bore out after the start to force the Field wide in the back stretch, set a fast pace early, but tired and bore out badly through the final eighth. CANTER BELLE, forced wide, improved her position on the outside to finish willingly. DIXIE S. had good speed early, but could not keep up. BLOND REEL had a rough trip. ON SEA broke slowly, but saved much ground early when the others raced wide. SCOLD was blocked badly in the first sixteenth. PEGADETTE suffered early interference. GUINEA LAW outran his field to the first turn, was shaken up midway of the back stretch, shook off TOP SHELL and withstood a strong drive to come out steadily in the last three-sixteenths. JUSTA JIMMIE, kept within striking distance of the leaders early, found racing room on the inside in the late stages and finished gamely. SKYE LASSIE, lacking speed in the first half mile, improved her position stoutly and came with good speed nearing the close. TOP SHELL forced a steady pace for the first five-eighths and continued gamely under a drive. SCOUT ROSE lost ground when kept on the outside. BORO POKER raced forwardly until reaching the final turn, then tired. DUNSANY could not get into a contending position. LUCKY ROLL trailed throughout. HOWELLVILLE raced into a short lead early, saved a lot of ground drew clear at the stretch turn, but faltered suddenly under an overconfident ride in the stretch drive. TRUTHFULLY broke poorly from outside the stalls and had too much taken out of her getting into contention. SCOUTALLOW raced evenly. KALEIDA was always held safe. MAMUCK broke poorly.
