SEEK FINANCIAL HELP ANN ARBOR, Mich.,. May 16.— University of Michigan athletes today signified their advocacy of the subsidization plan proposed by the student senate last week by appealing for financial help of some sort. In a letter to the Michigan Daily, student publication, signed by members of every team engaged in intercollegiate competition, the athletes endorsed an editorial in last Fridays Daily,, which advocated "an honest, above-board program of assistance, call it subsidization or anything else." One football player was quoted as saying there was almost no opposition to an intelligent program of subsidiza-ion. He added: "What we want more than anything else is a three-meal-a-day training table during the season of our sport, also some financial help in paying tuition!"
