t BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES | $ : ■ S Louis Feustel returned Pagliacci and other horses that he raced atNarragansett Park. J. W. Healy shipped, for the J. H. Whitney stable, the following horses to California to be turned over to W. J. Norton to race: Counterpoise, Hasty- Wedding, Easy Does It and Door Bell. The horses owned by T. B. Martin, headed by Cravat, arrived from Pimlico in charge of Benny Walters. Trainer Walter Burrows is I on the ailing list and turned the horses over to his associate. J. B. Balding, with a consignment of jumpers owned by J. H. Whitney, arrived from | Maryland. Benny Beach, veteran jockeys agent, was among the arrivals. "Doc" Owen, well-known in the main ring as a cashier, was on hand, his first appearance since his recent illness. The main division of the A. G. Vanderbilt stable arrived from Maryland. Charles Snider was among the arrivals, his first appearance of the season. Apprentice W. Fagan cancelled his mounts Tuesday afternoon, due to a slight illness at his home. Stake blanks for the one-day meeting of the United Hunts were distributed among horsemen Tuesday. Jockey J. Westrope will fly to Los Angeles to ride at Hollywood Park. He is due there on June 3. Recent arrivals from Pimlico overflowed the stable accommodations here and at Aqueduct.
