HITLER CONTINUES INSPECTION BERLIN, Germany, May 16.— Chancellor Hitler went forward today with his inspection of Germanys lines today, while the Berlin foreign office prepared for ceremonial signature of the new military alliance between Italy and the Reich. The Reichsfuehrer arrived late yesterday at Saarbruecken from the Aachen area. Accompanied by the nations highest political and military chieftains, he minutely examined the gigantic fortifications in the area which constitute part of Germanys "great west wall," facing the French and Belgian borders. Later, Hitler wound up the western phase of his tour at the southern anchor of the line near the junction of the German, French and Swiss frontiers.
