RACING BEFORE HOME FOLKS Cleveland Trainer Seeks Victories at North Randall Track. S. D. Kudson Training Stable of Harry Price of Columbus — Certain to Have Formidable Opposition. CLEVELAND, Ohio, May 16.— All horse-men shipping to North Randall for the inaugural meeting of runners there, May 27-July 4, are hopeful of many victories and successful campaigns for their stables, but none is more hopeful than S. D. Hudson, who trains for Harry Price of Columbus. Hudson hails from Cleveland and would like nothing better than to see his charges perform in a highly capable manner before the home folk. His stable is a potent one, and includes Friars Scout, a two-year-old; Kievex and Oklab, the last named having been acquired recently at private sale at Beulah Park. Hudson would be wise to expect plenty of competition at North Randall, for a glance through the list of stables reveals that the best horse flesh, generally speaking, ever campaigned on Ohio tracks will be in action. OTHERS COMING. A few of the other racers will be Allen Simmons Billys Folly and Saunderstown, Riverby Stock Farms Worpoise, H. C. Cohens Bobs Boys, Benny Creechs Dusky Prince and Grey Streak, Ivan H. Parkes One Night, I. J. Collins Bernard F., Dale, K. formerly Oddesa Beulah and Pehamis, Darby Dan Farms Francesco arid Darby Dean, Harry Wieners Whistling Dick, H. D. Kings Alan Chicle, Joseph Baumbachs Zev-1 son and Straight Thru, River Divide Farms Handiboy and Travel Agent, Joseph Bin-stocks Hope Diamond and Ladfield, W. R. Sallees Real Play and Mrs. L. H. Thompsons Good Actor. The minimum purse at North Randall will be 00, ranging up to a pair of stake events, each for ,000 added.
