WILMINGTON, Del., May 16.— The quality ; of the steeplechasing that will be offered at -Delaware Park between June 7, the day of the spring session of the Westchester Racing Association will end at Belmont Park, and the Fourth of July is indicated by the nominations for the Georgetown and Indian River stakes, which will be revived, respectively, Wednesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 21, the one at two miles, the other at two miles and a half. Each carrying an added money value of ,000, these will be the most generously endowed specials for jumpers of the American racing year. For the two of them Thomas Hitchcock has named Rioter, Annibal, Saluda, Satella, Yemasee and Conservator; William du Pont, Mandringham and Golden Coin; Mrs. Helen Hay Whitney, Sailor Beware, Galsac and Sumatra; F. Ambrose Clark, Cadeau II., Gun Pointer, Torturer and Steve Brody; Gwladys Whitney, Brant, Bagpipe and Gay Charles; Mrs. Isabel Dodge Sloane, National Anthem, Mulligrubble and Traffic Light; the Raritan Stable, Battle Ground, Our Sailor and Silver Lance; Louis E. Stoddard, Jr., Deserter and Blackcock; Kenneth N. Gilpin, Buck Lang-home; Donald Ross, Melleray Pass and Radamedes; Campbell Weir, Bulveta; Jack McKeon, Paraphine; Louis B. Mayer, Ossa-. baw; J. T. Horkheimers Autumn-quest, and Mrs. Arthur Whites Swimalong. Eligibles for the Indian River that are not in the Georgetown are Campbell Weirs The Dook; the Raritan Stables Homesteader; H. E. Our Sailor won last years Georgetown inaugural with Ossabaw finishing second and Red Rain third. The Indian River inaugural was won a week later by Torturer with El Dorador second and Red Rain third. Annibal won last seasons Corinthian and Grand Na-i tional revivals at Belmont Park, the Chevy Chase, at Laurel, and the Manly Memorial, at Pimlico; Rioter, the Meadow Brook, at Belmont Park. .Ossabaw won renewals of the North American and Saratoga, at Sara-, toga, the Glendale, at Aqueduct, and the Brook, at Belmont Park. Buck Langhorne, which became a jumper late last season after a long and not undistinguished career on the. flat, won at Pimlico the other day. Matey, a son of Man o War, the sire of Battleship, the horse with which Mrs. Marion du Pont Scott won Grand Nationals at Belmont Park and Liverpool, is jumping this season for the first time. VICMEAD ELIGIBLES. The forty-three eligibles for the Vicmead, a highweight affair of about two miles and a half that will be revived July 3 with an added money value of ,500 are .Blackcock, Deserter, Warsprite, Wild Son, Swordhilt, Matey, Muskogee, Bartow, Drinthorn, Melle-. ray Pass, Seafarin Dan, Big Rebel, Bulveta, Battle Ground, The Dook, Our Sailor,-Rock Lion, Silver Lance, Sisyphus, Paraphine, Little Cottage II., Black Sweep, Brumara, Persian Prince, Yammer, Dingwell, Broad-» side King, Jacamar, Rhythmical, Briar Blue, Dun Lucky, Coxswain, Sea Ted, Kilmalloch, Calculate, Capitol Hill, Princewick, Carter-moor, By the Sword, Tioga, Cabin Fire, Omel and Catalan Boy. Last years Vicmead was won by R. K. Mellons Toolbox, with Crooning Water second and Homesteader third. Pete Bostwick was the only other starter.
