ROY DICKERS ON j EFFICIENT STARTER j *- ยป One of the outstanding and most efficient starters on our American race tracks is Roy "Boots" Dickerson, who is now serving at Fairmount Park, at Collinsville, near St. Louis. Dickerson became a full-fledged starter at Arlington Park, where he occupies the starting position each summer. He also served at Detroit, the Fair Grounds in New Orleans, Arlington Downs in Texas and Tan-foran Park in California. His work this spring has been uniformly excellent and has made a decided hit with the patrons of the Collinsville track.
