XALAPA CLOWN TO AQUEDUCT LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 16. — Xalapa Clown, one of the better three-year-old prospects and a last minute withdrawal from the Kentucky Derby, Top Man, Bugles Blow, Black Bun, Shadows Pass, Canape and Gay Troubadour, owned by Mrs. Bessie Franz-heim and trained by Allie C. Dettwiler, left today for Aqueduct. Xalapa Clown will be fired for a knee ailment soon after reaching the New York track and probably will not resume racing before late summer.
