Perlman and Plaut to View Kings Plate Renewal Today TORONTO, Ont., May 27. J. Samuel Perlman, publisher of Daily Racing Form, and Lincoln G. Plaut, director of field operations, were hosts to a gathering of Ontario turfmen at a dinner held in the Royal York Hotel here on the eve of the Kings Plate. Included among the many prominent men in racing who attended, were Col. K. R. Marshall, president of the Ontario Jockey Club; James Heffering, president of the ICRA; E. P. Taylor, whose cole, Epic, is a split favorite for the Plate; John Stuart, owner of the prominent candidate, Bunty Line; R. James Speers, of Winnipeg, who operates the Prairie Province circuit; Frank Conklin, noted Ontario breeders, and others active in local racing circles. Perlman and Plaut will attend the Kings Plate at Woodbine, and will return to New York following the running.
