Gross First Saddle Success GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 27. Apprentice Michael Gross, Jr., who rode his first winner Wednesday at Garden State Park when he scored astride Royal Foot in the days eighth event, is a South Philadelphia lad. He is 20 years old and is under contract to J. H. Elliott. In-" cidentally, Royal Foot was the third mount of his career. His two other engagements were at Garden State Park during the current meeting.
