Approve 429 Yearlings For Sales at Keeneland LEXINGTON, Ky., May 27. The directors of the Breeders Sales Company met here Wednesday in an all-afternoon session, at which time they approxed 429 yearlings for the July auctions this year. Sales consignors will draw for positions in the sales on June 3. There will be eight sessions this year, as there were last summer. On Friday morning, July 29, the Breeders Sales Companys facilities at Keeneland will be used to hold a dispersal sale of the breeding stock belonging to the Villa Farm and the estate of the late Mary Dewitt Snyder. Eleven mares and seven sucklings will be included in the Villa Farms consignment, while the Snyder estate will sell approximately 13 mares and a number of foals. There are five stake-winning mares in the Villa Farm dispersal. Marsh Fire, the dam of Compliance, is expected to be included in the Snyder sale.
