Cartwright Only Shaken Up FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 27. Apprentice Norman Cartwright, contract rider for the James C. Ellis establishment, escaped with a severe shaking-up when thrown heavily from Tranquil Tide here yesterday in the seventh race. Cartwright, who had won two previous events on the Thursday card before suffering the mishap, has been in excellent form this season, winning the Phoenix Handicap at Keene-land on the Ellis stables Miss Neal and also scored wtih the Ellis homebred, Aunt Jayne Z.", in the Debutante Stakes at Churchill Downs. Cartwright probably will return to the saddle next Monday.
