Coughing Epidemic Subsides BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y May 27. The cold weather of the past few days has brought a halt to the coughing epidemic which is prevalent here. However, horsemen predict that when the weather turns warm, the disease will again crop up. Coughing epidemics have plagued the horses in the northern area for more than 50 years.
