Edward Miller Named Manager Of Painsville Raceways PAINESVILLE, Ohio, June 14.— Byron D. Kuth, president of the Painesville Trotting Association, announced today that Edward A. Miller will serve as general manager of the Painesville Raceways during the 34-day meeting, which will open here next Tuesday evening, June 19. Miller comes to the local track after successfully guiding the Jackson Raceways at Jackson, Mich., to a splendid season. Kuth stated that he selected Miller to handle the Painesville Raceway after he" consulted Leon A. Slavin, head of the Jackson course. Miller, who has had long connection with thoroughbred racing, is making his 4ebut this year with the harness sport. The Painesville Raceways, which is located 25 miles from the heart of Cleveland, . is expected to have a banner season and post time for the initial event daily has I been set at 8:15 p. m., according to Miller.
