Dates for Three San Francisco Area Tracks to Be Discussed - HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Caiif., June 14. — Date schedules for the three San Francisco Bay Area tracks will come up for discussion, and perhaps decision, at next Mondays meeting of the racing board in Los Angeles, it was learned today. Whether it would be the best thing for everyone concerned to keep on rotating the schedules, as at present, or whether it would- be better, as some proposed, to give Golden Gate Fields permanent early fall dates arid allow Bay Meadows and Tanforan to alternate spring and late fall, will be decided. Proponents of the latter plan, including some of the people at Golden Gate Fields, say such a schedule would eliminate 80 days of racing in one stretch on the peninsula and that by running 50 days in the spring and only 30 in the fall, it would be possible to get away from some of the bad weather which often prevails in late November and early December; Under the 50 days in the spring, 30 days in the late fall method, Tanforan and Bay Meadows would get the best of the deal every other year, as the track managements in the bay area seem pretty much agreed that spring is the most desirable time of the year to race. Fred Ryan, of Tanforan; Frank Clark, of Golden Gate, and William Kyne„ of Bay Meadows, met informally with Maj. Gen. Kenyon A. Joyce of the racing commission several days ago, and while the matter was discussed, no decisions were reached.
