SPERANZO, in close attendance of the leaders on the inside, took command about 50 yards from the finish and got the nod over JACK FIZZ. TRe latter, always well placed, went between horses in the late stages and just missed. NOBLE SPARTAN drew clear before a quarter mile, then weakened in the final stages. ELIAS G., within striking distance from the outset, held on determinedly until the end. COMET BOY had no excuse. CYKIE was outrun. SWING CHEER showed little in the going.
