OBriens Bad Luck Continues RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 14.— Jockey Johnny OBrien seems to be plagued with ill luck recently. The lad was recently discharged from the hospital due to injuries received in a spill here about a week ago. Yesterday he returned to the saddle and the first mount he accepted on the afternoons program, namely Scholar Time, broke down. The boy was not hurt in this mishap, however, but canceled the mount on Fourth Down in the fifth race and jockey E. Le Blanc substituted for him in this event.
