Dyson; bred by J. A. Goodwin. WENT TO POST-3:47. OFF AT 3:48| EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate for all but BRAHMAN. Won easily; second and third driving.. TEN GALLON HAT, much the best, raced evenly tc the stretch, was sent to the extreme outside at the final turn and, finishing strongly, _jsumed command to win with speed in reserve. OMIPAL, in hand to the last three-eighths, went wide at the stretch turn, closed willingly, but could not threaten the winner. COMMITMENT, on the inside from the beginning, tired after racing prominently to the stretch. PETITE BAYOU lacked early speed, saved ground entering the stretch, but could not better her position under strong handling. BRAHMAN reared at the break and could not threaten the leaders. FIVE FIFTEEN tired after showing early speed. THIRD OVAL •showed nothing. ALS WAR DOG was tiring badly when roughed during the drive. VITA failed to stay after showing early speed. RHOJOTTO was never a serious contender. MISS LARKSPUR, RANK DURING THE POST PARADE, -UNSEATED HER RIDER AND RAN INTO THE STABLE AREA, WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN AND ALL WAGERS ON HER REFUNDED. MINNESINGER jmoved up fast after the start and raced in nearest pursuit of SWEEP TIGER until inside the stretch, disposed of the latter during the final furlong and won going away. SWEEP TIGER began fast, made the pace to the last eighth, then faltered when challenged by the top one. BANNER BOY raced evenly and had no excuse. GRAND EVENING tired after beginning alertly. WHISP was never dangerous. JUST THE SAME was outrun. AMOROUS raced wide. CORKY PAUL showed nothing. Overweight— Just the Same, 1 pound; Amorous, 1. STONEYS TIGER went to the front early, established a clear lead before reaching the stretch, but was briskly handled during the drive to retain a clear advantage. COTTON GINNY, a sharp factor from the outset, bore in during the stretch run and could, not get to the winner. HAPPY OMEN, away slowly, moved up fast approaching the stretch, but failed to rally when set down in the drive. DESDEMONA began fast, but dropped back after the start. WINBOB was never dangerous. PARTRIDGE, steadied until reaching the upper turn, moved up fast when shaken up and, after racing by SOMA LAD, responded to punishment to win going away. JOES LADDIE, outrun and saving ground for five-eighths mile, closed willingly under brisk urging, but could not get to the winner. SOMA LAD raced by TURBAN before going a half mile, opened a short lead nearing the stretch, but faltered when challenged by PARTRIDGE. TURBAN tired after racing forwardly placed to the stretch. ARTLESS began fast, but dropped back immediately after the break. BIMONT began slugggishly and was never a serious factor. PHARACK could not keep up. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. NICE TINT drifted out nearing the stretch, finished well when straight for the drive, but could not threaten the winner. HEART FLASH went to the front soon after the start, established a long lead during the first half mile, but faltered during the stretch run. OUR SISTER c began slowly and was unable to get to the leaders when set down in the drive. BEST OF BREED was never prominent. KY.
