Illinois Notes WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 14. The public unit maintained by. Charles Sanborn was further augmented with the arrival of the two-year-old gelding, Big Blue, from Lexington, Ky. The youngster recently was purchased by the Elkcam Stable from J. P. Bragg. John. L. Oglesby made known that he will have eight thoroughbreds for the forthcoming Arlington Park campaign. The Oglesby-conditioned unit is headed by fJountess In, Cacomo and Warsick. P. J. Bailey returned from Louisville following the death of his lather and accepted mounts on Thursdays program. At the termination of the present session Bailey will swing into action on Mondays opening day card at Arlington Park. Joseph A. Kroeck, conditioner of Mrs. Mabel McCabes Mr. Fox, stated that jockey William M. Cook has been engaged to ride the McCabe racer in next Saturdays renewal of the 0,000 added Lincoln Handicap. S. Bryant Ott, trainer of a formidable public unit, will transfer his 12-horse stable to Arlington Park immediately following the termination of the Lincoln Fields meeting. Charles Sanborn transferred six of the thoroughbreds under his supervision to Arlington Park. The remaining five members of the stable will be vanned to the Arlington Heights course Monday. C. J. Gormley, Vasco Parke and James Francis, Jr., will take entries at Washington Park Saturday morning lor Mondays program at Arlington Park. Following the close of entries, racing secretary Frank Kilroe will compile the number of entrants in each of the scheduled races and, in turn, will relay the information to Washington Park, where the overnight stencil will be cut. Trainer E. E. Wilson took over one division of the North Shore Farm and. immediately departed for Fairmount Park. Included in the shipment were Deep Fen, "Head n Tell, Saxon Knight and Imperial Mandy. Rex Aubrey, trainer of those horses owned by Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Holman, will have eight thoroughbreds for the Arlington Park campaign. Aubrey recently shipped Yesnow, John Bauer and Midyette to Fair-mount Park. Phidias was returned to the Holman Farm near Mt. Vernon, m.k where the veteran campaigner will be rested for several weeks. Immediately following the conclusion of the Lincoln Fields meeting, Marion H. VanBerg will transfer the bulk of his stable to Detroit. Robert L. Irwin will take one division of the extensive VanBerg unit to Arlington. Three members of the Reverie Knoll Farm, under the supervision of "Buster" Lilly, were transferred to Detroit. The contingent comprised of Leavemealone, Smooth Finish, and the two-year-old, Horsey.
