Apprentice Stallings Injured BEL AIR, Md., May 30. Apprentice William Stallings suffered lacerations of the right eye and back injuries when he fell off Chopper after the finish of Fridays fifth race. He was sent to the Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace for X-rays. The boy went off while apparently attempting to avoid striking apprentice Don Teague who fell off Chalova after the finish a few second earlier.
